Valentina is currently a Cadet Major in the Junior Reserve Officer Training Corp (JROTC) Program at NBHS where she has demonstrated leadership skills, strength of character and devotion to others. Because of these strengths, she was selected in her senior year to serve as Captain of the Championship Facsimile Drill Team as well as a member of the Armed Color Guard Team.

 

Valentina is also part of the New Britain Police Explorers Program where she not only learns about law enforcement but also participates in a variety of functions throughout the city, interacting with our community. 

​

She plans on attending CCSU next fall and majoring in Criminology as well as join the Senior ROTC program at the college. Her goal is to enlist with the United States Army after graduating CCSU.
