As far back as he can remember, Alexander’s goal has been to become a United States Marine and Marine Biologist. He began this lifelong dream by entering The Young Marines, a program in Waterbury, CT for four years. Throughout his journey, he has attended many Veteran’s events, parades, as well as participating in volunteer work around the city.

 

During his three years at NBHS, he joined the Junior Reserve Officer Training Core (JROTC), and he finished his Senior year as First Sergeant. Last August, he began the process of making his dream come true. He enlisted in The United States Marine Corps, and he will be leaving for Boot Camp in July. While in the service, Alexander is planning on attending college to become a Marine Biologist.
